Utilising Adverts on Vehicles
The marketing and advertising world is full of creative and unconventional methods in communicating their messages to the public. Among the common method, especially in print advertising, is the use of vehicles to carry adverts. Adverts are posted or painted on the sides of vehicles, the most common of which are buses because they have large spaces on the sides. Taxis are also common vehicles that carry adverts, especially those that frequent international airports to greet tourists with adverts on hotels, tourist spots, local delicacies, among other products and services. Private cars can also be used for vehicle graphics and the car owners are bound to an agreement with the advertiser to carry the adverts. Adverts on vehicles can be an effective marketing strategy because the adverts will gain more public exposure with a moving vehicle than being posted on highway billboards.
